Top 10 Reasons to Become a Teacher

I agree with most the reasons on here. The few that stick out to me the most were. Staying young, humor, summers off and the most important one, making a difference in a child’s life and future. I grew up with a single mother and I did not have many male role models. There were a few teachers who I really looked up to both male and female. Its important to have more male teachers, so young boys grow up being comfortable around men. In many single parent situations, the father is missing and sometimes a male teacher can help fill that void. Teachers are more than teachers, and I look forward to the good and hard times. Teachers don’t teach for the money, because we all know that they could find other jobs that pay more with less responsibility. They do it because they care. They do it because you wont. They do it because they have to.
