library

My review on the virtual library

The virtual library like igoogle seems to be a place that I could be in for awhile!! It seems very informative on any issue really. The first tab I clicked on was the education tab and it sent it was “decommissioned”. Another place I went to is to “African studies”. I personally am interested in North Africa and the virtual library took me to Columbia Universities online library. I could see how this could be very helpful to a teacher or anyone else who is interested in learning more about a certain region.

My review on igoogle

Igoogle is a really cool site that I have known about but have never researched before this class. I chose a different theme for my background opposed to the default. Since I’m from Seattle, I chose the Dale Chihuly theme who happens to live in Seattle about 5 miles from my mother’s place. It’s on Lake Union by the Ivars fish house. Another really cool option other than all the organizational tools, is adding the places to see on my homepage. It basically shows pictures of places around the world in a slide show.

1972 Deville, nuff said





You are looking at a 1972 Cadillac Coupe Deville. This car was a beauty. Everything was original and it felt like Iwas driving a boat. I loved driving this car everywhere. Though it only got about 10 miles a gallon, it was worth every penny. It was therapeutic to get in and drive down the blvd or to the beach on a nice sunny day. I had to sell it before I came to Ashland, breaks my heart every time I look at these pictures.

The Lexo

This is my baby!! 1995 Lexus LS 400. My wife hates this car. She thinks its an old man's car. She doesn't realize that its a cruiser and its pure luxury. I float down the road with out a worry in the world.

Have you ever seen My Big Fat Greek Wedding??? That's pretty much my life. Loud and in your face with a heart overflowing with culture. My mother was born in Israel in 1949. She was the 8th child out of 10 kids. The first 7 were born in Tunisia. When you are a Jew, you are certain kind. For example there are different religious types such as orthodox, reform, kabbalah(madonna). Since Jews are from all over the world, there are 2 categories which are Sephardi and Ashkenazim. We are Sephardi Jews because my family is from N. Africa. Jews that originated in Europe are Ashkenazim. Here is a picture of my wife and I in Israel on a beach in Tel-Aviv. The day before this picture was taken, Hezbollah fired missiles into a town 30 miles north of this beach.
I like to call this picture Beauty and the Beast
